East Coast Whale Study is an independent Australian not-for-profit organisation focused on whale research, education, conservation, and public awareness activities. We are not currently registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC), and donations made to us are generally not tax deductible unless otherwise stated.
1. Donations
All donations made to East Coast Whale Study are voluntary and support our research, education, conservation activities, equipment, administration, and operational costs. We retain discretion regarding how donated funds are allocated in support of our objectives.
Unless specifically stated otherwise in writing, donations to East Coast Whale Study are not tax deductible in Australia.
Donations are generally non-refundable once processed. However, refund requests may be considered where:
- a donation was made in error;
- an incorrect amount was processed; or
- unauthorised payment activity occurred.
Refund requests should be submitted within 14 days of the transaction by contacting us directly.
Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers. We do not store full credit card details on our systems and are not responsible for outages, security breaches, or processing errors caused by third-party providers.
